APC Candidate, Rotimi Akeredolu Wins Ondo State Governorship Election

All Progressives Congress () candidate, Rotimi Akeredolu has won the State Governorship Election today, October 11, 2020 and has thereby been reelected as the Governor of state.

Governor Akeredolu defeated his close rival, Eyitayo Jegede of the Peoples Democratic Party () as he amassed a total of 292,830 votes, while Eyitayo came up with 195,751 votes.

Coming in third place is the Deputy Governor of the state, Agboola Ajayi attained 60,051 votes.
