Former Militant Leader, Tompolo Shows Up After 5 Years In Hiding, Nigerians React (Photos/Video)
Popular Niger Delta militant leader, Tompolo has revealed himself after almost 5 years in hiding.
According to reports Tompolo was declared wanted in 2016 following two bench warrants issued against him by a Federal High Court in Lagos, where he was charged with N45.9bn fraud.
After a relentless search for the Militant leader the anti-graft agency and the EFCC declared that all security agencies couldn’t locate him.
On July 15, 2019, the federal court dismissed the charges against the Global West Vessel Specialist Ltd, a company associated with Tompolo’s fraudulent activities, but this didn’t bring the militant leader out of hiding.
Recently on October 19, 2020 – Four years after being declared wanted, Tompolo was seen among his kinsmen in Traditional attires vibing to an Ijaw at Egbesu shrine in his Oporoza country home in Gbaramatu, Delta State on a live stream on Facebook.
