Moving Train Collides Into Commercial Bus In Lagos (Photos)

A rare accident has occurred in today as a moving train rammed into a bus carrying passengers this morning, Monday, September 14 at PWD area of Oshodi,

It was reported that the commercial bus with registration number GGE 972 GE swerved onto the train tracks while crossing the rail at PWD inward Oshodi, , and collided with the fast-moving commuter train.

Director-General of Emergency Management Agency, Dr Femi Oke-Osantintolu, while speaking on the incident explained that the accident which happened around had been managed and that no life was lost to it.

He said;

The agency received distress calls on the above. Upon arrival at the scene, it was discovered that a passenger bus with registration number GGE 972 GE, had veered onto the train tracks while crossing the rail at PWD inward Oshodi, .

The bus was then dragged along for a stretch of the journey before the train managed to come to a complete halt. Subsequently, the agency was able to successfully extricate the passengers and note that there was no loss of life.
