NECO Suspends Exams Until Further Notice

The National Examinations Council () has announced the suspension of the ongoing Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE) until further notice.

In an announcement made by the Head of Information and Public Relations Division at , Azeez Sani on Sunday, October 25, it was stated that the decision to suspend the examination indefinitely was due to the current unrest and turmoil in the country, as a result of the ENDSARS protests and the disruption of law and order by hoodlums in the country.

He added that the curfew imposed in some states have made it difficult for the examination council to move examination materials across the country. He also assured the students that examinations would commence as soon as the violence in the country dies down.
